Cristiano Ronaldo now only costs around 400k on FIFA 18 Ultimate Team
- With the World Cup mode coming out, Ultimate Team prices are being slashed
- The Real Madrid forward has the highest rated base-card in the game at 94
- Ronaldo’s base card cost as much as 800k coins at the start of the month
Namely, a huge price drop on a lot of players including the highest rated base card in the game, Cristiano Ronaldo. When FIFA 18 first released, you were looking at around 2 million coins for the 94-rated card.
But with multiple informs and a 99-rated Team of the Year card out now, people aren’t as interested. You can find the card now for less than 400k.
With players flocking to the World Cup mode, Ronaldo’s base FUT card has dropped in price
The 94-rated card cost over 800k coins at the start of the month but now costs less than 400k
The rare gold card cost as much as 800k at the start of the month but with players moving onto TOTYs and the World Cup, his price has crashed.
The card currently sells for less than 400k on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which is a total bargain when you look at his stats.
With 90 pace, 90 dribbling, 93 shooting, 82 passing and 80 physicality, plus five-star skill moves and four-star weak-foot – the card is absolutely incredible.
The price is even better when you consider the fact that his base card has the same overall as Gareth Bale’s Man of the Match card from the Champions League final which sells for over 1 million coins. However, Bale’s card has superior in-game stats in every category, which brings into question EA’s rating system.
Still, CR7’s base card is phenomenal at that price, it’s an opportunity you should absolutely take. You can either take advantage of his amazing stats or you may even be able to sell him for a tidy profit in the coming months.
