It must be even harder when your own team is apparently working against you.
That’s exactly what a new exploit in the game is allowing cheaters to do on the PC version of the game though. There’s video evidence of a cheater taking control of his opponents players, making it easy to score goals.
PC players of FIFA 18 Ultimate Team have been complaining of cheaters ruining their matches
The video was posted by Reddit user ildementrox, where they say that his opponent took control of his players and was able to spam the offside trap.
The exploit apparently occurs when the ball goes out of play. You can clearly see that the blue player marker which was originally on his opponent’s team swaps over to his own players, allowing the cheater to control them independently.
They were even able to have the keeper continually charge out of goal towards the ball, making it a fairly trivial matter to get past him and score.
Hilariously, even with this incredible advantage, the cheater, whose in-game name is ‘WL_IS_HACKED_LOL,’ often failed to score. They even managed to somehow lose a game in this weekend’s matches.
‘Hopefully this post can gain enough traction so EA will do something about it,’ wrote the Reddit user.
Other commenters have noted that the PC version has suffered from bugs and hacks in the past, and complain that EA Sports allegedly don’t give as much attention to the PC version.
