Path to Glory is a new addition to this year’s FIFA 18 game. Back in Autumn, 25 players had special cards released.
These cards were ‘live items,’ which means they update automatically if the player happens to feature in things like the Team of the Week, or if they get another special card.
Now, 25 more players have been given PTG cards as part of the spring edition, as we head ever closer to the start of the World Cup this summer.
A number of high profile players have received Path to Glory cards which update automatically
The 25 players comprise a full squad, with a first 11, seven substitutes and five reserves. However a lot of the focus seems to have been put on attacking players, with no goalkeepers in sight.
The highest rated player in the squad is Juventus’ Gonzalo Higuain, a 92 overall with 82 pace, 87 dribbling, and 91 shooting.
Nearly all of the other players are above 80 rated, and a number of Premier League players made the cut.
They include Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino, Manchester United’s Anthony Martial Chelsea’s Willian, and three players from Manchester City: Raheem Sterling, Ilkay Gundogan, and Bernardo Silva.
Southampton’s Ryan Bertrand, Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud, and Leicester’s Jamie Vardy are also in the team.
The majority of these players will be fighting for a spot in their international teams ahead of the World Cup this year.
Throughout the tournament, EA Sports will be continually releasing special versions of players, so these Path to Glory cards could improve even more over the summer.
