The Overwatch Summer Games 2018 are upon us, and that means a whole bunch of new cosmetic items.
Blizzard spent the last week or so revealing bits and pieces, but now that the update is live, we get to see everything they’ve been working on recently.
Check out all of the new legendary and epic skins below.
Cabana Ana is just one of nine skins that Blizzard has released for the Summer Games update
This was one of the skins Blizzard had already revealed, and it was met with great joy by Overwatch fans everywhere. They’ve perfectly captured that ‘grandma on the beach’ vibe.
Of course, we need some sport themed skins in there for the Summer Games update, and we’ve got Catcher Winston as one of them, complete with blue sunglasses.
Continuing with the baseball theme, Fastball Zenyatta is up next. He plays for the team Iris, of course, and fittingly, he throws baseballs at his enemies.
Switching sports to american football this time, Gridironhardt Reinhardt is clad in football pads, helmet, and his hammer is decked out in his team colours with the logo on top.
You probably wouldn’t associate Roadhog with playing lacrosse, which is part of what makes this skin so perfect. His hook is actually a lacrosse stick, although with a giant hole in it he probably won’t be playing very well.
D.Va looks the most summery out of anyone in the new update, with beach shorts, a flower in her hair, heart shaped sunglasses, and a great blue and purple paint job for her mech.
Most of the heroes have a skin themed around their nationality, so that’s why we’ve got a Mexican themed Sombra skin in this update. She’s mostly green, with red and white highlights all over.
Tre Kronor Brigitte
Tre Kronor, or three crowns, is one of the national emblems of Sweden, and so Brigitte has that emblem on her new skin, as well as being in the blue and yellow colours of the country.
Following a similar theme for Moira, she’s got the new Eireannach skin, which is the Irish word for Irish, which makes sense.
