What appears to be the full list of cars in the upcoming Forza Horizon 4 is now out in the wild, and it didn’t take any hacking wizardry. Customers who pre-ordered the game through the Windows 10 Store are able to pre-load the game and browse the cars file.
Redditor daten-shi noticed that the Windows Store was downloading Forza Horizon 4 Saturday, and posted the list of subfolders he found in the cars folder. There are a total of 491 individual car folders, although some of these, like traffic cars, won’t actually be driveable in the game.
It’s a hefty roster nonetheless, and includes a few odd choices like the Mercedes-Benz #24 Tankpool 24 Racing Truck that appeared in Forza Motorsport 6 and Cadillac’s XTS stretch limousine, which has shown up in both Motorsport 6 and 7.

As might be expected, in fact, the bulk of the list is cars that have appeared in other Forza games, with the majority brought over from Forza Horizon 3. However, there are also some conspicuous absences, which indicate that the list as posted isn’t final.
Perhaps chief among these is the missing entry for the McLaren 720S, which has already appeared in gameplay videos and screenshots. The 2018 McLaren Senna featured in the E3 trailer and on the box art is included, although listed under its codename, the Wellington.
Disappointingly, Toyota’s production cars still appear to be absent from the Forza lineup, possibly due to an exclusive licensing deal with Sony for Gran Turismo Sport.
You can view the whole list here. I’ve looked over it a few times, but I still can’t spot the hovercraft from the trailer. Forza Horizon 4 comes out October 11, and it’s likely the list will change between now and then.
