Upgraded Toni Kroos has fairly low free kicks on FIFA 18 World Cup mode despite last minute winner vs Sweden
- Toni Kroos was boosted to a 91 in FIFA as his last minute free kick saved Germany
- After that goal he surely deserves more than 84 free kicks on his World Cup card
- Also being up to a 91 is Belgium’s Eden Hazard after their 5-2 win over Tunisia
EA Sports rewarded him with an upgrade to 91 overall for the FIFA 18 World Cup mode and rightfully so but there was one glaring omission in his new stats.
Despite scoring a picture perfect free kick when the stakes couldn’t be higher, EA have given the midfielder 84 for his free kick stats which is good but still seems like a big injustice. Especially when you see Swedish defender Andreas Granqvist was boosted up to 95 penalties for the match before.
EA Sports released the latest batch of FIFA 18 World Cup upgrades including Hazard and Kroos
Otherwise his stats look excellent, even 65 pace is fairly high for the central-midfielder. His 83 dribbling is pretty good while 97 long shots brings his shooting up to 88. Add 90 passing to that and you have a phenomenal card.
Meanwhile, Belgium thumped Tunisia to a 5-2 win thanks in part to a double from Eden Hazard. The forward was also bumped up to a 91 with upgrades in pace (91), dribbling (94) plus large boosts of three to shooting (86) and two to passing (87).
And finally Mexico continued their fine World Cup form with a 2-1 win against South Korea which could see them top their group which also includes Germany. It was Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez who was the Mexican hero this time around as he grabbed his first of the tournament.
The West Ham striker has been upgraded from 81 to 84 overall and now boasts 83 pace, 83 dribbling and 85 shooting – making him a nice option for any CONCAF squad you might be building.
