We’re just a few weeks away from Madden NFL 19’s release date on August 10 worldwide on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
American football fans are gathering all the information they can on the new game, like the new enhanced control and real player motion systems, as well as what they can expect from the new edition of the Longshot story mode.
But many will simply be focused on how good their favourite players are, and EA Sports has revealed the best players you can find in the game.
Madden NFL 19 is coming out on August 10 worldwide on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC
He might have failed to carry the New England Patriots to yet another Super Bowl win this year after a high scoring brawl against the Philadelphia Eagles, but Tom Brady remains the top rated player in Madden.
He’s rated at 99 overall, the top score available, and he’s got 99 awareness, 96 throw power, 99 short accuracy, 97 mid accuracy, 86 deep accuracy, 88 throw on the run, and 99 play action rating.
Brady is joined by the Green Bay Packers’ Aaron Rodgers on 99 overall, and the two of them have pretty similar stats. Rodgers is just a little quicker, but not quite as accurate.
The game’s cover star Antonio Brown has also joined the prestigious 99 club. He’s got fantastic stats, including 99s in catching and catching in traffic, as well as near perfect scores in route running.
Also rated at 99 are Aaron Donald from the Los Angeles Rams, Rob Gronkowski from the New England Patriots, Luke Keuchly from the Carolina Panthers, and Von Miller from the Denver Broncos.
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones just misses out on the 99 club, with an overall rating of 98, as do Khalil Mack of the Oakland Raiders and J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans who round out the top 10 players in Madden 19.
Despite their Super Bowl win, it’s quite a long way down the list to find the first Philadelphia Eagles player. Their best is Malcolm Jenkins, who’s rated at 94 overall, but they do have a number of players on the 93 rating.
